Where you can find us

Our home base is in Guatemala City, Guatemala, right in the heart of the capital’s café culture. We’re surrounded by the aroma of fresh-roasted coffee and just steps away from local panaderías serving warm conchas and pastries we can’t resist. Being here keeps us close to the vibrant shops and cafés that inspire Stickrgift every day and yes, we definitely indulge more often than we should.

Lived experiences shared by many sparked our vision (in early 2025)

The origins of Stickrgift trace back long before it became a platform.
They come from observing how we communicate, how we share, how we express care through small digital gestures… and from asking:

What if a sticker could become a real moment?

In a world where relationships live in chats, where conversations hold entire bonds together, we saw a unique opportunity: to turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. To let a small digital gesture unlock a real, physical, shared experience.

That vision evolved into a system that now allows people to send real gifts instantly, ideal for friends, partners, family, coworkers, or even for brand-to-customer experiences.

We wanted to make gifting feel simple again. Our busy lives, traffic, phone-calls and deadlines interrupted our traditional gift-purchasing habits. More and more of us look for simple fast ways of gifting.

At the same time, we wish to give something meaningful or just to express our gratitude towards a kind friend, family with a simple gift that has emotional value and avoids the commercialized feeling of gifting. Something local. Maybe a local activity or experience or a local restaurant or a local maker's space. What if a small stickr in a chat could unlock a real coffee, cookie, or treat in person?

First sips & sketches (Spring 2025)

Over long afternoons in Guatemala City cafés, we sketched wireframes, built prototypes, and tested our first stickrs with friends.

Testing rounds, business validation (August 2025)

We connected with our local business network through friends and found our first partners: local vendors, local coffee shops and bakeries. 

Growing community (Fall 2025)

As more cafés, bakeries, and local shops join, Stickrgift is expanding into a true marketplace for everyday surprises and meaningful connections.

What’s next (2026 and beyond)

We’re just getting started. Stickrgift is growing with the people and businesses that make our neighborhoods special and we’re here to keep on gifting.
